What is the largest organ in your body? It’s your skin! The average adult has over 21 square feet of skin surface area. Although your skin acts like a protective barrier your pores allow everything you come in contact with to flow directly into your bloodstream.

In this day of automobile, food & product recalls when was the last time you’ve heard of any recalls concerning beauty products? The answer is never and the reason is because there’s no agency in the US regulating products before they are distributed to salons or stocked on store shelves.Did you know that the European Union has banned more than 1,110 personal-product ingredients for fear of birth defects & cancer, while the U.S. has only banned 10! You can purchase skin care products at reputable stores that contain Propylene Glycol, Benzene, Parabens and the list goes on.

Fragrance companies are another group of highly unregulated organizations that are adding potentially dangerous chemicals to our everyday scented products. Among the side effects of various chemicals not listed on perfume labels are sperm damage, disrupted hormones which can cause obesity, thyroid issues, diabetes and some cancers. Another issue is the container that your products are stored in. If these containers are not BPA-free then you run the risk of them seeping into your product and potentially poisoning you.

Do your current skin care products contain these harmful ingredients? Ours don’t!
